3 days worth of post!! Jan 28, 30 and Feb 4

Hello,

I guess I am very bad with managing time and schedule because this post will cover 3 days worth of classes!! My apologies, Rab.

On January 28, Rab basically told us more about keynote presentation features. For example, he taught us how to post the slideshows beforehand for the audience to see and such. However, I probably would not prefer to post it beforehand if I had the choice because the presentation may become more boring if the listeners already know what I am going to be talking about. Next, he told us a lot about charts and tables. I thought that keynote had very nice features. I really enjoyed the varieties they offered and the extra applications that could be applied to it afterwards. Then afterwards, we were given time to work on our presentations (and our last, too!!) which we will be presenting to the whole class for the next few weeks. Also, Rab kindly offered the class that he will be video-recording our presentations so that we can learn from our mistakes. I am really thankful that he is offering us this opportunity because there are not many chances where we can actually watch ourselves present.

On January 30, the class split into two groups (7 and 6 people per group) and presented to each other our presentations of what we have done so far. I thought that this class session was helpful because I got to see where everybody else was about and I got to learn from their good parts and bad parts. I think that learning from our classmates is a very helpful technique. I am grateful that Rab always provides the students with these kinds of opportunities.

On Feb 4, the final presentation started! Only four people were able to present because each presentation takes pretty long including the Q&A session time as well. As Rab told the class beforehand, he video-taped us. I am glad that he did this and cannot wait to receive the clip because I know that I have a lot more to learn from my speech. I was actually the last person to present today. I did not want to present in the next following classes, so I requested to do my speech on this day. Although I was not totally confident or comfortable with presenting to the class, I definitely feel improvement and confidence compared to the beginning of the class. I am really happy that Rab have taught us a lot of useful tips and suggestions regarding presentations!
